Initial Assessment for Medication

New patients will be seen for two or three visits to collect in-depth history and background context for the problem you present with. In the last visit Dr. Johnson will discuss with you her treatment recommendations which may include medication, psychotherapy, diagnostic laboratory tests and/or lifestyle interventions to optimize your health.

If medications are indicated, she will discuss the pros and cons of your choices and adress your questions and concerns- it is important that you understand treatment in order to maximally benefit.  Prescriptions for your agreed upon regimen will be provided at the conclusion of this assessment.

If psychotherapy is indicated and desired, Dr. Johnson will provide referrals to excellent clinicians in the community who she then works with in a collaborative, integrative way.
